Growers' workshops
Flowers4Bees aims at supporting horticultural businesses in their efforts to cultivate their plants and flowers in a pollinator-friendly manner. That is why we have developed a half-day workshop for professional growers and interested third parties that will be offered regularly from 2017 onward. Dates and more detailed information will be published on this website.

Beekeeping
Flowers4Bees is keeping its own beehives since 2015 in order to get to know the way of life and the needs of honeybees at first hand. The beehives are looked after by volunteer helpers of the member companies. The volunteers do not only obtain the necessary theoretical know-how but can also gain practical experience in beekeeping. And they all love our delicious self-produced honey! Our volunteers tell us that they do not only gain understanding and respect for the effort of our busy bees but also begin to critically scan their environment for food sources and habitats. Therefore, we believe that our bees help making our beekeepers aware of their needs, which is also the first step towards the effective protection of all pollinators.
